WHY G2?
G2 is born of an obsession for preserving and optimising every single tonal nuance of vintage and modern guitars, amps and effects. It offers ultimate control over your whole rig without tying your feet or your brain up in knots. G2 is beautiful, compact, unbelievably simple to use and has the cleanest, most transparent audio possible.
G2 takes true-bypass switching to an entirely new level using technology never seen before on a pedalboard switcher. The most important difference is our 'Passive True Bypass Matrix'. This guarantees the most direct signal path possible with no loading of your guitar signal. It's a game changer – you simply won't believe your tone.
G2 is an obsession realised; a professional solution used by some of the world's leading players. We know you're going to love it.

WHAT THE PRESS SAY
Superb switching flexibility, exceptional tonal integrity, sensible price: gold! The really surprising bit? It's all blissfully simple to operate. It ticks two outwardly contradictory boxes. First, it provides total flexibility yet is simple to use; second, it sounds fantastic without having any sound at all. There's no programming, no patch saving, no endless menus: everything G2 is doing is right there in real time, in front of you. Considerably better value than a custom-built rig system.
GigRig’s G2 blasts past the basics—and does so in remarkably intuitive ways. I fired up G2 without cracking the manual, and within five minutes, I’d programmed half a dozen presets. Looper/switchers are new technology for many players, but GigRig’s Daniel Steinhardt has been building them for a decade, and the experience shows. It’s a big investment. But that buys you serious hardware suitable for pro tours, and innovative software with unique and meaningful features. But G2’s ultimate feat may be the way it makes these complex functions so disarmingly simple.

FAQs
What's the voltage and how much current does it need?
G2 uses 9V DC - 650mA of current
G2 is designed to run with TheGigRig Generator power supply, which is included with the G2.
Can I use G2 with the FX loop of my amp?
You can use any loop you like but another great way to do this is with the Volume Loop insert. Use the send from this to go to the input of a HumDinger, then the Isolated out to the front of your amp. Then take the amps's FX send to the volume insert return, then out1 from G2 to the FX return of your amp. Turn on the POST GAIN on all your presets and set the level and you're done.
What patch cable do you recommend for G2?
Daniel says: I have my personal faves, but all the common solderless types will fit nicely including Lava Cable, Evidence SIS and George L's. If you want to use soldered connections I suggest straight Switchcraft jacks. My favourites are the new solderless types from Lava and Evidence audio. We sell these and can ofer you a bundle deal including all the patch cable and connectors you need to set up your entire board.
Can I have more effects loops?
G2 has 10 effects loops, but there are ways to add more. For example, you can add a Remote Loopy2 before the input and control it by the G2 Remote Switches, or if you want another 10 you can actually connect two G2s together and have one controlling the other. Press a preset on one G2 and control all 20 effects loops!
